Answer:

The correct answer is

B.) The graph shows that immigration had more ups than downs since there were mostly ups immigration increased since the 1820s.

Correct on Edgenuity 2020 :)

Explanation:

Comparing the other answer choices, B. is the most accuracy when determining the U.S. Immigration Graph. The other answer choices do not match the description of the graph.

Wrong A.) The graph shows that immigration had more downs than ups and since there were mostly downs there was no trend.

A is incorrect because there are 6 "ups" whilst there were 3 "downs.

Correct B.) The graph shows that immigration had more ups than downs since there were mostly ups immigration increased since the 1820s.

B has the most accurate description of the overall trend in immigration.

Wrong C.) The graph shows that the immigration trend would not continue to rise after 1910.

C is incorrect according to the graph because in the 1900's it would mostly like seem that the number of immigrants would continue to increase rather than decline.

Wrong D.) The graph shows that immigration was not a result of rapid industrial growth because the trend was uneven.

D is incorrect because the immigration had had its rapid growths even though the trend was uneven. It is true that its uneven but, like said in answer A's explantation, there were 6 "ups" whilst there were 3 "downs which proves there was a higher increase of immigrants.

If you'd like me to confirm that this is the correct answer,

just letting you know, I already completed the quiz and got it correct ! :D

What did European exploration lead to in North America?
Natalija [7]

Answer:

There was less interest at first in starting colonies because northern explorers did NOT find gold and other treasures. Europeans they wanted to trade with the Native Americans for otter skins, whale oil, beaver, and fox furs. Europeans set up many trading posts in North America. English exploration caused a war between England and Spain. Francis Drake claimed California for England. The English helped Europe defeat Spain which marked the change in power of Europe. This took a main role in trade and colonization around the world.

1) What provides the BEST evidence that the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution was unconstitutional?
otez555 [7]
In 1943, the US got involved in the longest war, the Vietnam War. The President during that time was Lyndon Johnson. He had made a campaign with the pretense that he was a pacifist. However, he later on adopted the viewpoint that the war could not be avoided by the US to enter because of what happened in the Gulf of Tonkin. Because there was no adequate proof about the subject, the US navy did not believe the second attack – the Gulf of Tonkin incident was only a justification for the passing of the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution. When Congress passed the resolution, President Johnson was given full military power. That started the US into a long and violent war against the North Vietnamese with millions of casualties based on event that never really occurred. The Gulf of Tonkin Incident was merely a justification for a resolution passed by the US Congress to enter into war against North Vietnam. However, the whole pretense for getting into the war did not happen which makes the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution unconstitutional.
