So according to British writer Samuel Johnson in his 1775 pamphlet, Taxation No Tyranny, the complaint of his statement appears to address that, one should not complain of the value of things that he left from the place he came from, just to transfer to a different place. It was your choice in leaving a country that you may only have little, but you have the "voice" (vote) as a citizen, and you exchanged it for a place of having great property but you have no vote. Hope this answer helps.

how did kings methods for civil rights differ from those of white moderates and african american militants
olga_2 [115]
Martin Luther King Jr. was a believer of peaceful protest. Every single one of his protestant gatherings were meant to be peaceful. a quote from from one of his speeches shows this:

I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.

unquote.

This excerpt proves that he was a peaceful protestor.
