<span>In the original tale of Beowulf, Grendel was purely a monster. Gardner's novel focuses on the part of the original Anglo-Saxon epic that points out Grendel came of "the race of Cain"--in other words, he was a human being, but cursed. Gardner's Grendel imagines what it must have been like to be Grendel, capable of human thought and speech and feeling, but treated as vermin, the ultimate vengeful outcast. It uses Grendel's point of view to ask the question, "What does it mean to be human?"</span>

Effective communicators: D. check for feelings based on nonverbal cues.

<h3>What is an effective communication?</h3>

An effective communication can be defined as an act that typically involves conveying information (message) efficiently and effectively from a sender to another (recipient) without any redundancy.

<h3>What are barriers to communication?</h3>

Barriers to communication refers to can be defined as anything that prevents the successful transmission, receipt and understanding of a message by the parties that are involved in a communication.

As a general rule, an effective communicator must be aware of the frames of reference and views of the recipient of an information (message).

In this context, we can infer and logically deduce that effective communicators check for feelings based on nonverbal cues.

In what ways does van gogh make the stars accessible
Oduvanchick [21]

Answer:

Explanation:

Vincent Van Gogh was the most well-known post-impressionist artist born on March 30, 1853, in Groot-Zundert. For him, colors were the symbol of expression. He was a missionary at his young age,  who was highly emotional and lacked self-confidence.

Starry Night is one of the famous painting by Van Gogh. Historians say that Van Gogh painted Starry Night when he was in mental hospital. Some theologians try to interpret his Starry Night in religious terms as Van Gogh was also religious. It is said that he painted this picture having a picture of Genesis 37:9 in mind in which Biblical Character Joseph sees a dream,

"Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, saying, "Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me."

Van Gogh in his painting also paints Eleven stars and the sun and the moon. With this interpretation in my mind Van Gogh made stars accessible in a way that just like Joseph's dream came true at the end of Genesis, one's dreams can also become true if we continue to believe in it despite the situation.
