The importance of been Earnest was  a play written by Oscar Wilde, the play was a comedy and it was first performed at St James's Theater in London on 14 February 1895 this play consist of themes such as social expectation in the lifestyle the English Upper class. The writer use satire to ridicule the cultural norm of that time.

Seeing the staged version of the scene would improve its aesthetic impact by allowing the audience to watch the actors' reactions, thereby adding to the humor. Seeing the play on scene will enable the audience to be able to see the actors reactions , their facial expressing, movement which will have an impact on the audience to be able to decode the humorous point of the play and also help them to recall the scene in their memory.
