Syllables have a beginning, a middle (usually the vowel), and an end. these are referred to (in order) as?
meriva

The correct answer is option c) the onset, peak, and coda.Syllables have a beginning, a middle (usually the vowel), and an end. These are referred to (in order) as: the onset, peak, and coda.

What is syllable?

A syllable is an organizational unit for a sequence of speech sounds that normally consists of a syllable nucleus (usually a vowel) with optional starting and terminal borders (typically, consonants). Syllables are frequently regarded as the phonological "building blocks" of words. They can impact a language's rhythm, prosody, poetic meter, and stress patterns. Speech is normally separated into a single syllable: for example, the word ignite is made up of two syllables: ig and night. Syllabic writing predated the initial letters by several hundred years. The first syllables were inscribed on tablets in the Sumerian city of Ur circa 2800 BC. This transition from pictograms to syllables has been described as "the most significant development in the history of writing."

Who are macbeth's second and third victims? what reason does he give for killing them? why does lady macbeth faint? explain your
pogonyaev
1. Macbeth's second and third victims are the two guards who were standing in front of Duncan's bedroom door. His plan was to kill Duncan in his sleep, but the guards were preventing him from doing that. This is why he killed the two guards with the help of his wife. The reason why he did that was so that he could have someone to blame for the death of the king - he would say that he caught them killing the king, which is why he had to have them murdered as well.

2. Lady Macbeth fainted to distract everyone's attention to her. She knew that Macbeth was weak, and that if questioned, he would admit to everything - to killing Banquo, Duncan's guards, and Duncan himself. This is why she decided to take matters into her own hands and therefore she pretended to faint. Thus everyone gathered around her to help her, and Macbeth 'fortunately' didn't get the chance to reveal their crime to everyone.

The following question has two parts. Answer Part A first, and then Part B.
DanielleElmas [232]

Cesar Chavez would probably agree that people should act with cooperation and compassion for one another, as shown in option C. The sentence that follows this is:

"I am giving you the same opportunity to join the same cause, to free your fellow human beings from the yoke of oppression."

Why does Chaves believe that people should act with cooperation and compassion?

 • According to Chaves, changes only occur with social cooperation.
 • He believes that social groups marginalized by the government such as blacks, workers, women, among others, must come together to bring about the change they need.
 • However, this union will only occur if people do not act thinking only about themselves, but thinking about everyone who has suffered socially and needs help to prosper in life.

In this way, Chaves shows how King was an example of cooperation and compassion and that's why his words are inspiring.
