An embryonic stem cell is pluripotent, adult stem cells are multipotent while skin cells are determined cells. Pluripotent means that the cells can differentiate into any cell type that makes up the organism while multipotent means that the stem cell can differentiate into  a limited number of cell types. A determined cell is that which is already differentiated.

When energy passes from one trophic level to the next, I would guess that the two factors which decrease the total amount of energy from being passed up are:
1. An organism does not assimilate all the energy of food consumed. Within a consumer, digestion and assimilation of energy is not 100% efficient: some of the energy is lost.
2. A large proportion of energy assimilated by a producer and consumer is lost through respiration, i.e., day-to-day maintenance of metabolic processes.

Contact [7]

A transference RNA (tRNA) is an adapter molecule that decodes a codon messenger RNA (mRNA) during the synthesis of a polypeptide chain. These molecules (tRNAs) play a fundamental role during translation.

  • If a tRNA had an AGC anticodon it could attach a codon having the sequence UCG.

  • During translation, tRNAs act at specific sites in a ribosome to synthesize a polypeptide chain (i.e., a protein) from an mRNA sequence.

  • The anticodon of the tRNA binds by base complementary to a triplet of nucleotides or 'codon' in the messenger RNA (mRNA) during protein synthesis (i.e., translation).

  • According to the base complementarity rules, in RNA, Adenine always pairs with Uracile (Thymine in DNA), whereas Guanine always pairs with Cytosine.

how does the introduction of a non-native top predator species, such as a python, affecting the flow of energy in the florida ev
Ierofanga [76]

Answer:

The Burmese python is a native species to the tropics in South and Southeast Asia and introduced in Florida, U.S. as a pet. But the python can grow very long in length and people released them in the everglades.

Python became an invasive species in Florida which is harmful for native species. Python do not have any natural predator in Florida and its population is uncontrolled naturally.

Python are affecting flow of energy in everglades as because of no natural predators they grow large in size and numbers and that will lack food for other animals and predators.

Hence, when other organisms and predators will not get enough food, it will completely change the normal food chain of the ecosystem.
