Lynx are wild animals, which act as predators in regulating the populations of their prey.

Lynx are dangerous for humans but humans are more dangerous for them because they are hunted for their skin.

Naming the lynx will be advantageous for its survival because it will give them a unique identity and will increase care for them. Naming the animal create a different bond between human and animals which changes the way humans regard animals.

So, naming the lynx might decrease the hunting of lynx and will increase its chnaces to survive.
