First, I will solve for one triangle. To find the area of a triangle, you multiply width by height and half the product. So in other words 9 times 2, and that answer divided by 2. 9X2=18 and 18/2=9. Now multiply this triangle by 6, since the problem asks for 6 triangular pennants. 6X9=54 so 54.0ft² is your final answer.

This is an algebra question

Let w = width and h = height of the rectangle.

To get area, you multiply. So in this case w x h = 144.

To get perimeter you add all the sides: w + h + w + h = 48. If you

simplify this, you get:

2w + 2h = 48.

If you divide both sides of this by 2, you get

w + h = 24. 54.0ft² is the answer.

Answer:

y = 24

angle V = 67

as a 4 sided shape, the angles all have to add up to 360 degrees.

we already have the answers for R, 120, and B, 53. We have 187 degrees left to work with.

Based of the information the tics on the sides of the figure gives us, we know that angle P and R are the same! First (just for fun, this isn't needed) we'll find X.

(x+95) = 120

   -95     -95

       x = 25

We know 3/4 angles now, so by subtracting their sum from 360, we'll find angle V!

360 - 53 -120 - 120 = 67

Angle V is 67

Now to find y!

(2y+19)=67

     -19  -19

     2y = 48

     /2     /2

       y = 24

Suppose you hit a fly ball with an initial upward velocity of 20 feet per second. Which of the following equations would be a re
baherus [9]
A=g≈-32

v=⌠a dt  since a≈-32

v=-32t+C, where C is the initial velocity, which we are told is 20 ft/s

v=-32t+20

h=⌠v dt

h=-32t^2/2+20t+C, where C is the initial height, so what is a reasonable initial height?  How about 3 ft since we are swinging a bat around maybe our waist level... maybe :P

h=-16t^2+20t+3

Your choices may have made a different assumption about the initial height of course but you did not show your choices, but certainly it will be:

h(t)=-16t^2+20t+hi, where hi is the initial height in feet.

This of course ignores air resistance and flight dynamics of a spinning ball with seams, which will make a significant difference in real life :)

Sandra wants to evaluate 2 cot Her work is shown below. What did she do wrong?
Rashid [163]

Answer: The first option.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. You need to remember that:

- An even function is a function with the following property:

f(-x)=f(x)

- An odd function  is a function with the following property:

f(-x)=-f(x)

2. By definition, the contangent is an odd function, therefore you have that:

cot(-θ)=-cot(θ)

Then:

2cot(-\frac{9\pi}{2})\neq2cot(\frac{9\pi}{2})

3. So, you can coclude that the first step is wrong. Therefore, the answer is the first option.
