Y=-6x+54

5y-x+9=0

5(-6x+54)-x+9=0

Distribute the 5 to the -6x and 54.

-30x+270-x+9=0

Then simply.

-31x+279=0

Subtract 279 from both sides.

-31x=279

x=-9

For example, a good example of conditional statement;

Find the total price, including 6% tax, for a $6.95 dinner, a 95 cent beverage, and a $2.45 dessert.
Naddik [55]

Answer:

$11.00

Step-by-step explanation:

6.95 + 0.95 + 2.45 = 10.38

0.6% ÷ 100 = 0.06

0.06 x 10.38 = 0.621

round to the nearest hundredth

= 0.62$

0.62 + 10.38 = $11.00
