<em>"Writ of certiorari"</em> is a juridic term. Also known as <em>"cert. </em>(abbreviation) <em>petition</em>" ,  petition for the writ of certiorari , the right to petition, or to seek judicial review. Can also be translated as <u>"we wish to be informed"</u>.

Certiorari is a contraction of the latin verb <em>"certiorare"</em> , that can be translated as certify ; As writ , from latin <em>"breve" </em>,  is an order (documented) emitted by the administrative or judiciary power .

Writ of certiorari is normally the process in which a superior court sends the document requesting of an inferior jurisdiction the records of a particular case to be reviewed.  This process depends on the superior court, jurisdiction examining if there are enough elements - reasons- to do so.

Bezzdna [24]

Answer:

Tiresias tells him that as he refuses to bury Polynices and his punishment of Antigone for the same reason, god will curse people of Thebes. On hearing this, Creon calls him a false prophet and refuse to list to his advice.

Explanation:

In ''The Oedipus Plays'', Tiresias is the blind soothsayer of Thebes. Creon decided that he will listen to Teiresias’s advice as he owes so much to his past advice.  Tiresias tells him that as he refuses to bury Polynices and his punishment of Antigone for the same reason, god will curse people of Thebes.
