His works, skillfully and beautifully written, that went from plays, sonnets to poems, not only appealed to a lot of people while he was alive, but it still appeals to even more people nowadays, over 400 years later.

His influence in English literature was such that over 2000 words and phrases he created are used in the English language nowadays, and his playwrights are still performed and recommended to read in the educational system and for entertainment as well.
