Both sides agreed to return things to the way they were before the war.

Further Explanation:-

The war of 1812 lasted for nearly three years from 1812 to 1815 and this war was fought over issues that continued to create problems between the United States and Britain after the end of the Revolutionary war. Some of the issue which led to this war was related to imprisonments of American sailors and Trade restrictions imposed by Britain on the American Shipping industry. During this war, many issues of Americans were resolved but the Treaty of Ghent ended the war that involved no change with regards to pre-war boundaries and borders. As a result, the United States and Britain called out for peace as all the causes related to the war disappeared. The quest of Americans for the honor after its continuous humiliations by the Britishers came to an end. Little attention was paid by the British during this war as they concentrated more on the final defeat of napoleon in the year 1815.

If a headless worm can grow a worm why cant people think of old memeries
Tresset [83]

Answer:

Worms are genetically and physically able to do so, but humans don't always remember things because the brain makes room for stuff that it thinks is more important and throws out old information or you brain changed and it physically cant remember that because of how long ago it was and it could've been little to unimportant to remember every single thing you would need photographic memory.

President Andrew Johnson said that "this is a country for white men." How did he act on this belief?
max2010maxim [7]

answer:

he vetoed most reconstruction legislation.

Explanation:

After the Civil War, Radical Republicans in Congress and President Andrew Johnson differ over the terms and conditions for readmitting the withdrew states to the Union. President Johnson saw Reconstruction as an official duty and blocked congressional activities.

Congress tried to check the power of the presidency, which had extended in wartime, and took a less appeasing position toward the previous Confederate states on issues of loyalty, governance, and the privileges of black citizens. In 1867 and 1868 Congress passed four Reconstruction Acts over Johnson's vetoes.
