irina [24]

The three correct answers are;

B. forming waxy leaf coverings

D. storing energy in fat cells

E. forming cell membranes

Lipids are a large group of biological molecules that include phospholipids, fats, oils, waxes and some steroids. Almost all lipids are hydrophobic (i.e. insoluble in water). Lipids play many important different functions in a cell. Lipids are vital component of all cellular membranes. They store energy in the form of fats in the body. Waxy coverings on some leaves are composed of lipids. Lipids are also essential for heat insulation, cellular communication and protection.

Explain why you would sooner be hit by a ping pong ball vs a baseball. Use all the terms: force mass and acceleration!!
kati45 [8]

Answer:

Because the ping pong ball has a lesser mass than a baseball; hence the ping pong ball will accelerate faster than the baseball when a constant force is applied to both

Explanation:

The force applied to an object is a product of its mass and acceleration i.e. F=ma. According to Newton's second law of motion, the relationship between the mass of an object and its acceleration when force is applied to it was described.

In a summary, the second law states that that the acceleration of an object increases with increased force and decreases with increased mass. This means that the more the mass of an object, the greater the force needed to make it accelerate and also the more the mass, the lesser it accelerates.

In this case, a ping pong ball has a lesser mass compared to a baseball, hence, it will accelerate faster than the baseball assuming an equal force was applied. Since the ping pong ball will accelerate faster, it will hit a person faster than the baseball.

What is Sarcoplasm?

This is defined as the the cytoplasm of striated muscle cells in living organisms .When calcium is present, the binding sites on actin are exposed.
