Answer:

Parasitism, predation, and commensalism, all three are common as only one species is benefited in process.

Explanation:

Parasitism is the symbiotic relationship in which one species benefits while other is harmed. Benefited species refers to parasites while harmed species known as the host.

Predation is the interaction of two same or different species where one kill or eat other, here also only one benefits.

Commensalism is a symbiotic relationship of two species where one benefits while other is unaffected.

Thus, parasitism, predation, and commensalism, all three are common as only one species is benefited in process.

Symbiosis is the ecological relationship between two or more organisms living closely together with some form of feeding relationship involved. The three main symbiotic relationships are: - Mutualism, where both organisms benefit. - Commensalism, where one organism benefits while the other organism is not harmed. All of them thrive off of the other organism.

A. A and B

B. B and C

C. B and D

D. A and D

Answer:

The correct answer is option D.

Explanation:

Alveoli is defined as the unicellular thickened sac like structure of lungs which helps in exchange of gases in lungs. The exchange membrane of lungs comprise of three structures -

A. The epithelium cells of Alveoli,

B. The basement membrane of alveolar epithelium,

C. The endothelial layer of blood capillary.

The red blood cells described here won't cause any problems to the diffusion of gases from alveolar cavity to blood. The structures mentioned here as the type 2 cells of Alveoli which secrete lecithin, a surfactant which releases the surface tension of Alveoli. This compound prevents the Alveoli from collapsing and helps in diffusion of gases. The other structure mentioned here as D are the alveolar epithelium which is the unicellular thickened membrane of Alveoli, helping in gaseous exchange.

Which cell structure is associated with the breakdown of harmful substances or substances that are no longer needed by the cell
Andru [333]
Lysosomes are vesicles that are formed by the Golgi apparatus. They contain powerful enzymes that could break down (digest) the cell. Lysosomes break down harmful cell products, waste materials, and cellular debris and then force them out of the cell.
