The Japanese knew that they can take down the other nations in the region with relative easy, and considering that they lacked natural resources, but the nations in the region had them, they decided to start and expansion. Little by little, the Japanese managed to conquer very large area in the coming years.

The Great Depression had a huge impact on Americans. For one, it left some absolutely <em /><em>impoverished</em>, and people didn't have food, water, or even a place to live. They often had to line up at soup kitchens and live outside.
