her breasts are dun; / If hairs be wires, black wires grow on her head” employ a humor device.
the lines “ i have seen roses damasked, red and white, / But no such roses see i in her cheeks; / And in some perfumes is there more delight / Than in the breath that from my mistress reeks” employ a humor device.

How long is a paragraph
Andrei [34K]
A paragraph can be as long as it has to be. A paragraph is meant to contain an idea. It can be 20 sentences long or it can be 6 sentences long.

Even if you were to define that a paragraph is 6 sentences long, then comes the question, how long should a sentence be? 10 words? Or 25 words? And then comes how many letters the words should be on average. 2 letters per word on average? Or 7?

So how long a paragraph can be is all relative...

Write a paragraph using apprehensive, barricade, commotion.
TEA [102]
The ground shook in response to the deafening crash, and the world seemed to stand still for a moment. But only just. The ground shook, the people around the area breaking into a commotion. All of them swarmed to the nearest shelter, desperately searching for a means to escape their fate. One person rushed into their home, hastily barricading the door as several people followed after them. Another stood on the edge of a roof, apprehensively taking a step forward as the world went up in flames around them. It had come. The apocalypse, long awaited, was finally happening.

Masja [62]

Answer: B) Sense of humor.

Explanation: In the given lines from Act I, scene III of "Romeo and Juliet" by William Shakespeare, we can see a conversation between the Nurse and Lady Capulet about Juliet, the nurse claim that she knows Juliet's age to the hour, and the way that she expresses that ("I’ll lay fourteen of my teeth— And yet to my teen be it spoken I have but four") allows the reader to see Nurse's sense of humor.
