A recent event in national news is the death of George Floyd. It started when a cop tried to apprehend Floyd outside of a store.
The officer pressed his knee into Floyd’s neck, killing him all while on camera. This incident has caused a nationwide protest. The BlackLivesMatterMovement has spread all around the country calling for change. There has been a number of riots, marches, protests and the defacing of confederate statues.
