Answer:

This statement highlights the democria and responsibility of the government to work for the people, if the population decides to do so.

Explanation:

With this phrase, Linconl stated that the American people were free and sovereign within the country, in the way that the founding fathers stipulated. This freedom allows everyone to be equal and the desire of each citizen to be met by the government, as a way of showing that the people are sovereign. For this reason, a war can be established, if that is the popular will within a country.

Explain the significance of god gold and glory in exploration
mojhsa [17]
By God, Gold, and Glory, I assume you mean them as three reasons for exploration. Spreading monotheistic religion (I.e. God) was a common reason for exploration due to the large influence religion (especially Christianity) had on people. Many explorers were missionaries, who attempted to convert people from all over the world to their religion. Secondly, gold (or wealth) was another reason for exploration. Everyone in the past wanted wealth just as much as people today wanted wealth, so the promise of it was almost certain to get people to go and explore (see the California Gold Rush as an example.) Finally, glory was the last major reason for exploration. Everyone wanted to be famous for something as much as people today do, and what better way to do that than to discover a place not yet documented on a map? People who got back form exploration alive were often treated as heroes, mainly because of the kinds of things they had to endure during their trip.

How did the meaning of democracy shift from the colonial era to the revolutionary era
Readme [11.4K]
From the 1820s through the 1850s American governmental issues moved toward becoming in one sense more just, in another more prohibitive, and, by and large, more divided and all the more adequately controlled by national gatherings. Since the 1790s, legislative issues turned out to be more majority rule as one state after another finished property capabilities for voting. Legislative issues turned out to be more prohibitive as one state after another formally rejected African Americans from the suffrage. By 1840, every white man could vote in everything except three states (Rhode Island, Virginia, and Louisiana), while African Americans were prohibited from voting in everything except five states and ladies were disfranchised all over the place. In the meantime, political pioneers in a few states started to restore the two-party strife that had been the standard amid the political battles between the Federalists and the Jeffersonian Republicans (1793– 1815). Gatherings and gathering struggle wound up plainly national with Andrew Jackson's crusade for the administration in 1828 and have remained so from that point forward. Gatherings named possibility for each elective post from fence watcher to president and battled valiantly to get them chose.
