Answer:

The preceptor's statement is an example of tradition.

Explanation:

Notice how the preceptor does not offer an explanation based on evidence from experimentation. He simply states that that is the way it has always been done. That is an example of tradition, which can be a barrier to evidence-based practice. Tradition limits problem solving. It prevents changes from happening, often maintaining obsolete practices that could very well be updated for better results.

List your most frequent self-criticism and analyze how you believe it developed
elena-s [515]

Self-criticism can be a constructive mechanism of self-improvement and self-reflection, but it also can be very destructive. In the age of social media, we constantly have access to other peoples lives and can not help but to compare. It is all good, until this analyzing becomes more agressive towards one self. For example, 'oh, they are vacationing at such a nice place' goes to 'I am so stupid, I can never earn so much money to afford such a vacation'. Not everyone have a highly developed self-esteem, then this self-criticism becomes hard to handle and can even turn into constant anxiety and even depression. One of the most prominent self-criticizing has to do with the self-image or appearance. People want to look good and also stand out. This balace is hard to achieve. Sometimes people go as far as immitating the 'idol' or the person they think looks perfect. By self-criticizing you are almost denying your personal traits, and wanting to look like someone else. It all comes down to self-acceptance and controling your self-criticizm. If you try to look at yourself more objectively, you will have healty self-criticism that will help you improve.

mario62 [17]

Answer:

neither in the labor force nor unemployed.

Explanation:

Based on the information provided within the question it can be said that in this scenario the Bureau of Labor Statistics counts Christopher as neither in the labor force nor unemployed. This is because the labor force includes those that have a job or those that don't. Since Christopher does not have a job and is not looking for one then he is not part of the labor force.

What situation will most likely occur in a traditional economy
siniylev [52]

Answer: C

Explanation: Traditional economies are about, well, tradition. Customs and long-held beliefs in a community, family, and so on shape how the economy is run. It would only make sense for a baker’s son to honor tradition and take up his father’s profession in a traditional economy.
