It’s not A, it’s B. A complex sentence contains an independent clause and a subordinate clause. In B, the independent clause (that can make sense on its own) is ‘a trip to Las Vegas is unforgettable’ and the subordinate clause (which can’t make sense on it’s own) is ‘although it will set you back at least a thousand dollars’. Hope this helps!

Jacob is a single parent from Los Angeles. Which practice do you think would be typical of Jacob‘s parenting style?
mart [117]
I don't think he would neglect his children, or allow elders to make all the decisions, I believe that he would encourage his children to play on his own. I would go with he encourages children to play on their own.

Identify which sentence uses imperative mood?*
qwelly [4]

Answer:

- Complete your homework before playing your game.

- Bring me your chromebook.

Explanation:

Imperative mood is of three verb moods in English. It is used to express an order, demand or a command.

It comprises of bare infinitive of the verb and is most often used in second person singuar or plural.

Obviously, first and last option here use imperative mood; they express a demand, something that needs to be done (Complete your homework! Bring me that!).

Option 2) is a question, and in English, for posing questions, we use indicative mood.

Option 3) is an expression of a wish, and for that, we use subjunctive mood.
