What is The conditional probability that a student studied for the test GIVEN that they failed?

Mathematics

krok68 [10]3 years ago

Answer:

1/27

Step-by-step explanation:

I'm sorry if this is incorrect but I came to this answer because since this so conditional you have to multiply to the two probabilities together. 12/27 studied for the test altogether but only 1/12 failed the test. So, when you multiply these two together and simplify them you come to 1/27.

Ramona is a saleswoman whose base plus commissions amounted to $52,561 last year. If her base pay was $23,960 and she made $77,3
Ksju [112]

Answer:

37%

Step-by-step explanation:

If Ramona received an overall pay of $52,561 last year, $23,960 of which was base pay, we can first subtract these two numbers to find the amount she made from her sales commission:

$52,561 - $23,960 = $28,601

In order to find her percent commission, we can set up a proportion:

\frac{p}{100}=\frac{28,601}{77,300}, where 'p' is her rate of commission

Cross-multiply and divide:  100(28601) = 77300x or 2,860,100 = 77,300x

Or x = 37%

larry ran 220 meters farther that leigh ran. leigh ran 2.3 kilometers. how many kilometers did larry run?
Gala2k [10]
Larry ran 2.52 killometers. Since a meter is 0.001 killometers, you have to do 0.001 x 220 which is 0.22 then do 2.3 + 0.22 and get 2.52.

7(3b-1)=2b-26 please help and give me step by step ☺️
Colt1911 [192]

Answer:

b = -1

Step-by-step explanation:

7(3b-1): 7 goes into the numbers by multiplying. This will give you 21b-7.

So now the equation should be like 21b-7=2b-26.

-7 and 2b swap places, making 21b-2b=7-26. It will give you 19b= -19.

Finally divide the two numbers (-19 / 19) and the solution will be b= -1.

If I didn't make a clear answer or a good explanation, please comment. I sometimes mess up my steps, and this is my first time using this.
