Answer:

There is no way to say rather or not someone will regret a life choice, later on, even if don't regret it after making the decision. But one way is before doing anything, is to think it through. For how every long it takes. Ask yourself, "Is this really best for me?", "How will this choice affect others around me?", "Is this really helpful in the long run"?. Asking questions like these, may just help come to a decision. If you decided this is certain choice is the BEST for you. Then you should go for it. While you can't be promised you won't come to regret the decision, it you feel good about it and have thought about long-term consequences you should do what feels best.

Answer:

Note: This question is subjective so the answer might be different based on the person.

The way to make the best decisions in life is by not only reflecting on how the decision affects you, but how it affects others as well. Your actions have the ability to either help or hurt others and its important to think about what might happen in the future based on your decision. I believe a lot of people struggle with this idea and have a hard time imagining it, but try to put yourself in the view of others or ask them yourself whether or not they agree with the decision. Every action can change some aspect of your life, as little as it may be. Its also good to view the pros and cons of bigger decisions and decide if the decision is worth the cost. You may also need to decide if you are able to follow through with the decision, or if the task may be too daunting for you to handle. I don't think there is a decision you can make where there isn't any regrets or "what ifs", but you can still make the decisions that are most beneficial to both you and others.

Alchen [17]

This question is incomplete. I looked it up online and found the complete question. It is the following:

Read the excerpt from "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street":

49. CLOSE SHOT - SPOT LIGHT ON PORCH 49.

As it suddenly goes out. There's a murmur from the group. 50. GROUP SHOT 50. As the people react.

GOODMAN: Now I suppose that's supposed to incriminate me! The light goes on and off. That really does it, doesn't it? (he looks around the faces of the people.) I just don't understand this— (he wets his lips, looking from face to face.) Look, you all know me. We've lived here five years. Right in this house. We're no different than any of the rest of you. We're no different at all. Really... this whole thing is just... just weird -

The writer of this excerpt uses:

A. direct characterization to show that Les Goodman is an alien in disguise

B. direct characterization to show that Les Goodman is nervous

C. indirect characterization to show that Les Goodman is an alien in disguise

D. indirect characterization to show that Les Goodman is nervous

Answer:

The author of this excerpt uses:

D. indirect characterization to show that Les Goodman is nervous

Explanation:

"The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street" was an episode of the first season of the famous series "The Twilight Zone", written by Rod Serling.

In the excerpt we are analyzing here, the author is using indirect characterization. That means he is showing something through the character's words, gestures, actions, instead of saying it directly. Notice that at no point does the author say, "Goodman is nervous." However, he uses stage directions concerning how the actor is supposed to behave:

(he looks around the faces of the people.)

(he wets his lips, looking from face to face.)

Goodman is indeed nervous. So nervous that his mouth gets dry, so he needs to wet his lips. So nervous that he keeps looking from face to face, worried that his neighbors are actually considering the idea that he might be an alien. Therefore, the best option for our answer is D.

wgich of these is the term for the smooth flow of ideas in sentences, between paragraphs, and in paragraphs?
Lorico [155]

Answer:

Coherence

Explanation:

You have not provided the options, but I can answer your question nonetheless.

The term that refers to the smooth flow of ideas in sentences, between paragraphs, and in paragraphs is coherence. When something is coherent, all of its parts are well-connected. This characteristic of a piece of writing is crucial because, otherwise, we wouldn't be able to understand it. Words in sentences need to be connected in a way that makes sense. The same applies to the sentences that make up paragraphs, and paragraphs that make up an entire text.

Hunter commented what is going to happen with this crazy weather
Tcecarenko [31]

Answer:

Hunter asked, "What is going to happen with this crazy weather?".

Explanation:

I'm assuming you're improving the sentence. commented should be replaced with asked, since he is asking a question. Then you just have to add punctuation to the dialogue.
