Fortune behaves differently in some stories compared to others because Fortune can be a good thing for someone but it could be a curse to others.

When the characters of a story receive fortune they deserve, it is legal, obtained by correct ways, fortune is a bless because it comes in time, and it is appropriate. If Fortune comes as a result of cheating, lying, compromising values, stealing or affecting other people, it could be a curse because, with time, the situation became complex, the truth comes to the surface, and people have to be accountable for his actions. Sometimes, resulting in tragical situations.
