Then they will make more and not really care that much about the cost. The benefits of trading with others in is that you get new technology and new ways of doing things. You also get more of things so say if your country only had wheat and corn then you could trade that with a country that has not wheat or corn. Its a benefit because everyone gets what they need and they also get new technology and new ideas from other civilizations.
