As Americans we have civil liberties and civil rights. Protection of civil liberties and civil rights is perhaps one of the most fundamental political value in American society.Liberties and rights are different but in both words appear in the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights. Distinction between the two has already been blurred and today the concepts are often used interchangeably. However they do refer to kinds of guaranteed protection. Civil liberties are protections against government. These rights are limited when government takes away those unknowingly.

How did the tariff impact the economies of the South and the North differently?
olga55 [171]
Good Morning!

Many analysts call the conflict between the south and north, in the American Civil War, a "tariff war". The north financed its industrialization through high rates of imports of primary goods, which undermined the economic functioning of the south, which in turn required agricultural machinery.

Answer:

rule of reciprocity.

Explanation:

The rule of reciprocity refers to the social norm in which you feel obligated to do something for the person in response to what that person has done something for you. The concept of rule of reciprocation was developed by Robert Cialdini in his book titled "Influence: Psychology of Persuasion."

According to this principle, it is a universal habit in humans that one feels obligated to reciprocate to an act of generosity that has been offered by others either in a form of a material gift or a good deed. The rule of reciprocation is also used as a tool to persuade.

In the given case, Daniel has used the principle of reciprocity. Daniel invited Nick for a party which was nothing but a sales pitch. He offered him complimentary food and in response, Nick felt obligated to reciprocate buy a product from Daniel.

So, the correct answer is the rule of reciprocity.
