Answer:

x = 93

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

<QSR = 35

<SRQ = 58

<SQP = x

Required

Find x

To find the value of x, a triangle needs to be drawn (See attachment).

From the attachment;

<SQP + <SQR = 180 ----------Angle on a straight line (Equation 1)

<SQR + <QSR + <SRQ = 180 ----------- Sum of angles in a s triangle (Equation 2)

Substitute <QSR = 35 and <SRQ = 58 in equation 2

<SQR + 35 + 58 = 180

<SQR + 93 = 180

Subtract 93 from both sides

<SQR + 93 - 93 = 180 - 93

<SQR = 87

SUbstitute 87 for <SQR in Equation 1

<SQP + 87 = 180

Subtract 87 from both sides

<SQP + 87 - 87 = 180 - 87

<SQP = 93

Recall that <SQP = x

So, x = 93

If point D is placed on AC, how will the measure of DAB relate to the measure of CAB?
xeze [42]

Answer:angle DAB will be equal to angle CAB

Step-by-step explanation:

AC is a straight line and forms one of the sides of triangle ABC. If point D is placed on line AC, angle DAB would remain equal to angle CAB since they are on the same line the angle formed with line AB remains the same.

Need help with this please

First, are you really familiar with the graph of y = [x]? If so, your answer choices move that graph up or down.

A. Move the graph of y=[x] UP 3 units
B. Move the graph UP 1 unit
C. Move the graph DOWN 1 unit
D. Move the graph DOWN 3 units

The graph you're given on the problem screen is not a very good one, I think. Would it help to draw y = [x] on a piece of graph paper where one square = 1 unit? The graph you're shown has one square = 2 units, which could lead to some confusion.

So, draw the graph of y = [x], then figure out which way the graph was moved -- and how far -- to get the graph in the problem.

Here is a link to a YouTube video that might help a lot.

The value of y varies directly as the square of x and y=-12 when x=2. What is y when x=-4?
lesya [120]

The value of y varies directly as the square of x and y = -12 when x = 2 then the value of y when x = -4 exists y = 24.

What is meant by direct variation?

When two variable quantities contain a constant ratio, their relationship exists comprehended a direct variation. It exists said that one variable varies directly as the other. The formula for direct variation is y = kx, where k exists the constant of variation.

The constant value (often written k) relating amounts that rise or fall uniformly together. It exists the ratio of the amounts y and x:

k = y/x.

Put another way: y = kx.

Accordingly, the equation has the form y = kx, where k may be any number.

Substituting y = -12 when x = 2, we get

-12 = k × 2

simplifying the above equation, we get

⇒ k = -6

Therefore, the required equation exists y = -6x.

The value of y when x = -4 is y = -6 × -4 = 24.
