So first you need your denominators to be the same so you can multiply. They share a common denominator of 24. 2/3 equals 16/24 and 2/8 equals 9/24. So now you need to turn your fractions into mixed numbers and multiply. Which equals 2112/576. That # is way to big so then you simplify and get 11/3. so now you have 5 and 1/6 divided by 11/3. So now just flip the second fraction multiply it by its reciprocal. 31/6 X 3/11=___. So your final answer is 1 and 9/22

the table shows the types of popcorn buckets sold at a concession station for one day. what percent of the buttered popcorn buck
vlada-n [284]
Hi there! The answer is about 23%

First we need to find the total amount of buttered popcorn sold. This is 182 + 140 + 97 = 419 buckets.

To find the percentage of the buttered popcorn buckets that were large, we use the following formula:
\frac{part}{total} \times 100\%

Filling in this formula brings us to our answer:
\frac{97}{419} \times 100\% = 23.15
Hence, the answer is about 23%

The angle measures associated with which set of ordered pairs share the same reference angle? (Negative StartFraction StartRoot
Katarina [22]

Answer:

(C)\left(-\dfrac{1 }{2},-\dfrac{\sqrt{3} }{2} \right)$ and \left(\dfrac{1 }{2},\dfrac{\sqrt{3} }{2} \right)

Step-by-step explanation:

The reference angle is the angle that the given angle makes with the x-axis.

For an ordered pair to share the same reference angle, the x and y coordinates must be the same or a factor of each other.

From the given options:

(A)\left(-\dfrac{\sqrt{3} }{2} ,-\dfrac{1 }{2}\right)$ and \left(-\dfrac{1 }{2},-\dfrac{\sqrt{3} }{2} \right)\\\\(B)\left(\dfrac{1 }{2},-\dfrac{\sqrt{3} }{2} \right)$ and \left(-\dfrac{\sqrt{3} }{2}, \dfrac{1 }{2}\right)\\\\(C)\left(-\dfrac{1 }{2},-\dfrac{\sqrt{3} }{2} \right)$ and \left(\dfrac{1 }{2},\dfrac{\sqrt{3} }{2} \right)\\\\(D)\left(\dfrac{\sqrt{3} }{2},\dfrac{1 }{2} \right)$ and \left(\dfrac{1 }{2},\dfrac{\sqrt{3} }{2} \right)

We observe that only the pair in option C has the same x and y coordinate with the second set of points being a negative factor of the first term. Therefore, they have the same reference angle.

How do I find the ratio of this? It makes no sense to me
Volgvan

Answer:

\frac{169}{289}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given 2 similar figures with ratio of sides = a : b, then

ratio of areas = a² : b²

Here ratio of sides = 52 : 68 = 13 : 17 ← in simplest form, thus

ratio of areas = 13² : 17² = 169 : 289 = \frac{169}{289}

Pizza planet is running a sell 3 pizzas for $16.50. What is the unit rate for one pizza?
8090 [49]

Answer:

$5.30

Step-by-step explanation:

$16.50 = (3)p

[p = pizza]

To solve you have to separate the p by removing the (x3)

1) Divide both sides of the equation by 3

[ 16.50 / 3 = p}

2) Divide 16.50 by 3

[5.30]

3) 5.30 = p
