Answer: It can affect the baby because Listeriosis is caused by the bacteria in soil the name of it is Listeria monocytogenes. The disease can survive in soil for many months just like bacteria... Babies can become infected in utero or at birth.

Advocacy should be done also to sensitize people about the effects of pollution and overfishing in water bodies. Pushing for the enforcement of rules protecting the aquatic biomes from pollution should also be taken note of to improve the conditions of the biome.
