"President Obama’s National Address to America’s Schoolchildren" is a speech delievered by President Obama at the Wakefield School addressing to the students.
<u>The central idea of the speech was that President wanted to encourage every student present to take their responsibility of learning. He states that the students should focus on their studies as it is the education that will define their future and not only theirs but the future of the nation as well</u>.
He urged them to learn and educate themselves despite the challenges they face. He encourage the young audience by taking his own example of hardships and still having the desire to complete his education. He asserted that to get educated is not the responsibility of their parents, schools, etc but their own. He stated the importance of education, that it is education that will help them to know their talents as well.
