Athena Tacha is an artist born in Greece in 1936 and was one of the first to design and implement environmental site-specific sculpture in the 70s. She has created many permanent public art works throughout the US and she is very famous for her works in environmental public sculpture. The star fountain is consists of numerous glass columns that are illuminated at night by animated LED/RGBs.
