Answer:

Please find the detailed answer in the explanation section.

Explanation:

1. Current ratio = total current assets ÷ total current liabilities

For Coca-cola: $17,551 ÷ 13,721

= 1.28

For Pepsi : $12,571 ÷ $8,756

= 1.44

2.Accounts receivable turnover times times = Net sales ÷ average (net) accounts receivable

For Coca-cola: $30,990 ÷ $3,424

= 9.1

For Pepsi : $43,232 ÷ $4,654

= 9.3

3. Average collection period days days = (Accounts Receivable ÷ Net sales ) x 365 days

For coca-cola: ($3,424 ÷ 30,990) x 365 days

=40.3 days

For pepsi: ($4,654 ÷ $43,232) x 365 days

= 39.3 days

4. Inventory turnover times = Sales ÷ Inventory

For Coca-cola: $30,990 ÷ $2,271

=13.6

For Pepsi: $43,232 ÷ $2,570

=16.8

5.Days in inventory days = (Average Inventory ÷ Cost of sales) x 365 days

For Coca-cola: ($2,271 ÷ $11,088 ) x365 days

=74.8 days

For Pepsi:  ($2,570 ÷ $20,099 ) x365 days

=46.7days

At the beginning of the tax year, Barnaby's basis in the BBB Partnership was $50,000, including his $5,000 share of partnership
drek231 [11]

Answer:

$62,000

Explanation:

Calculation to Determine Barnaby's basis at the end of the tax year

Using this formula

Ending tax year Barnaby's basis in the partnership=[BBB Partnership basis+( Share of debt-Share of partnership debt)+ Share of Partnership's income +Share of partnership's nontaxable income-Cash distributions]

Let plug in the formula

Ending tax year Barnaby's basis in the partnership =$50,000 + ($8,000-$5,000) + $20,000 + $1,000 - $12,000

Ending tax year Barnaby's basis in the partnership =$50,000 + $3,000 + $20,000 + $1,000 - $12,000

Ending tax year Barnaby's basis in the partnership = =$62,000

Therefore Barnaby's basis at the end of the tax year will be $62,000

Describe at least three exchange rate factors that are likely to attract foreign investors to a country's currency. Explain why
lana66690 [7]

Answer: 1. High Interest

2. Low Government Debt

3. Political Stability

Explanation:

Foreign Investors are Investors and investors always like to invest where there are prospects of growth and profit.

High Interest Rates give them the opportunity to invest their money in a currency that will give them a great return because a country where there are high interest rates imparts this on its currency which causes it to rise in value thereby giving currency holders a capital gain.

Another factor is Government Debt. A country with high Government debt will typically be unable to raise funds through the bond market easily. This shortage of funds can lead to inflation which devalues currency causing foreign currency investors to flee.

Finally there is the Political Factor (other factors exist). A stable country politically stands a better chance of maintaining a higher value currency that one with lower political stability. This is because political Stability attracts investors and as more investments come into a country, this reflects in its currency by making it stronger which will attract foreign currency investors.

Juliette [100K]

Answer: $13000

Explanation:

From the question, we are told that Paula receives a nonliquidating distribution from Pell Corporation. Paula’s basis for her Pell stock is $10,000 and in exchange for her stock, Paula receives real estate with an $8,000 basis and a $15,000 fair market value that is subject to a $2,000 mortgage.

The amount of Paula’s basis in the real estate she received will be the net fair market value of the real Estate. It should be noted that this is the difference between the market value and the mortgage amount. This will be:

= $15,000 - $2,000

= $13,000
