Natural selection is the process in which survival of the fittest, a concept by Charles Darwin suggests that animals adapt to better suit their needs. Those who survive are the "fittest" and breed children with the trait until the unfit die out. He saw this with the Galapagos finches. there used to be 1 kind of finch, now there are 14.
