Answer:

Explanation:

In this type of situation Survival of the Fittest and Evolution would take place. The population will begin to shrink drastically as they are easy prey in this new environment. Those that manage to survive will begin to adapt in order to better survive. As the years go by the population will begin to evolve into a species that will both survive and thrive in this wooded environment. Such as a species with a darker color for starters.

Of the more than 70 different ions that are dissolved in seawater the two most abundant _________.
valina [46]
The most abundant compound that can be found in the sea apart from water is the sodium chloride (NaCl). This is why we are able to retrieve table salt, which also comes in the same formula, from the sea. When sodium chloride dissociates into its ions, the two ions would be Na+ and Cl- which are called sodium ion and chloride.

How can mutations lead to human evolution?
lions [1.4K]

Answer:

How Mutations Can Lead to Human Evolution?

Explanation:

A mutation is the random change in the nucleotide sequence or in the DNA organization (genotype) of a living being, [1] that produces a variation in its characteristics and that is not necessarily transmitted to the offspring. It occurs spontaneously and suddenly or due to the action of mutagens. This change will be present in a small proportion of the population (variant) or the organism (mutation). The genetic unit capable of mutating is the gene, the unit of hereditary information that is part of DNA.

In multicellular beings, mutations can only be inherited when they affect reproductive cells. A consequence of mutations can be, for example, a genetic disease. However, although they may seem harmful in the short term, mutations are essential to our long-term existence. Without mutation there would be no change, and without change life could not evolve.
