Bur oak and hickory trees are deciduous,which means that they lose their leaves seasonally. A bur oak is 25 1/2 feet tall and gr

First we must calculate, for each tree the increment for each year:

bur oak:

Initial: 25.5 ft

1 year = 25.5 + 1.5 = 27

2 year = 27 + 1.5 = 28.5

3 year = 28.5 + 1.5 = 30

4 year = 30 + 1.5 = 31.5

5 year = 31.5 + 1.5 = 33

 hickory:

Initial: 30 ft

1 year = 30 + 1.5 = 31.5

2 year = 31.5 + 1.5 = 33

3 year = 33 + 1.5 = 34.5

4 year = 34.5 + 1.5 = 36

5 year = 36 + 1.5 = 37.5

Year  |  bur oak (ft)  |  hickory (ft)

  0              25.5              30

  1                 27               31.5

  2               28.5              33

  3                30               34.5

  4               31.5               36

  5                33               37.5

PLSSSS HELPPPP MEEE I WIIILLL GIVVEEE BRAINLIEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!
kirill115 [55]

Answer:

slope m = 0

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the slope for two points, you need use

m = (y2 - y1)/(x2-x1)

for point 1 (-1, -4) and point 2 (-2, -4)

m = (-4 - (-4)) / ((-2)-(-1))

m = 0 / -1

when the top number is zero, the answer is 0

if you plot the points in a graph, it is a horizontal line or y = mx + b = 0m -4

y = -4

Write an equation and solve. Round to the nearest hundredth where necessary.
Likurg_2 [28]
Equation
Y=P%*X

Y= 25%*75
Converting percent to decimal:
p = 25%/100 = 0.25

Y = 0.25 * 75
Y = 18.75

4x^2+32x+8 is a perfect square trinomial true or false
fgiga [73]

Answer:

The trinomial 4x^2+32x+8 is not a perfect square trinomial because the third term is not a square.

Step-by-step explanation:

A trinomial is an expression composed of three terms that are joined together by addition or subtraction.

A perfect square is created when a value is multiplied times itself. Thus, (a + b)(a + b) = a^2 + 2ab + b^2, making the trinomial a² + 2ab + b² a perfect square.

To show that a trinomial is a perfect square you must show that if the first and third terms are squares, figure out what they're squares of. Multiply those things, multiply that product by 2, and then compare your result with the original quadratic's middle term. If you've got a match (ignoring the sign), then you've got a perfect-square trinomial.

The trinomial 4x^2+32x+8 is not a perfect square trinomial because the third term is not a square.

Write an equation that is parallel to line y=x-5 through (1, -2)
Gnesinka [82]

Answer:

y = x - 3

Step-by-step explanation:

y = mx + b

m is  slope of a line, because the line is parallel to the line y = x - 5, slope should be the same, so m = 1

y=1*x + b

To find b, we have the point (1, -2)

-2 = 1 +b

b = -3

So line has  the equation y=x - 3.
