Which factor must a country consider before deciding to join the United
andreyandreev [35.5K]

Answer:

A. Whether it is willing to follow international laws set by the UN

Explanation:

US charter is open to all peace loving countries who are willing to accept the UN charter and follow the obligations. A country is added to the UN by General assembly on the recommendation the security council. US is neither a state nor a government hence it doesn't have the authority to assume diplomatic relations. The membership of a new state is decided by other states and government and is directly linked to willingness to accept the diplomatic relations with other countries.

Why was the us foreign policy based in isolationism during the nations first century
garik1379 [7]
Much like many other countries, the US foreign policy was based in isolationism which resulted in new restrictions on immigration and a lack of membership in international organizations. There isn't a good explanation as to why it was isolationist in the first place besides the fact most countries were at that time so it made it easier for the US to do the same.
