Explanation:

In  "The Story of Daedalus and Icarus", the two are locked inside a giant maze with a fearsome creature - the Minotaur. Daedalus builds wings made of bird feathers and wax to escape, and the two set off flying into the distance. Daedalus warns Icarus not to fly too close to the sun, or his wings will melt. However, Icarus, being young and ignorant, soars upward and upward until it is too late, and the wax on his wings melt, dropping him into the sea. Daedalus is shook and escapes to an island to grieve for his son, thus revealing a moral of how ambition can lead to downfall.
