Answer:

Explanation:

The time and place represent the story by telling exactly where it's at, like Walmart in the 80's, it's obviously going to be different than a Walmart now.

Answer:

The time and location. (A and B)

Explanation:

A story's setting is where the story takes place. The time and location are two very important factors to the setting of the story. If the story is a si-fi story, then it might be set in the future, as with a western story it would be set in the past.

Theme and characters deal more with the plot of the story than the setting.

Why has the director called Bernard Marx into a public meeting?
makvit [3.9K]
In Chapter Ten, the Director passes through the Centre’s Fertilizing room, admiring the fertilizing and decanting technologies. He andHenry Foster plan to meet Bernard in the Fertilizing Room. The Director tells Henry that Bernard must receive punishment because no one should lead the general population astray with strange behavior or notions of individuality. With all the workers present, the Director publicly reproaches Bernard for his social misconduct and tells him that he must go to Iceland where he will not be able to influence others.Bernard and the Director represent two sides of the novel’s main conflict, and this chapter describes their confrontation. The chapter opens with descriptions of the scientific mechanisms used to create humans. The Director states that no one, including Bernard, can express individuality in any way. The Centre can simply make a new individual if anyone gets out of line, which indicates the society’s reliance on science rather than human life. The Director's predicament in the chapter is an example of irony. The Director enters the room with a high regard for social programming and belief in the good of science, state regulation, and conformity in all social practices. However, the Director becomes the chief example of non-conformity when the others learn that he himself exhibited the most embarrassing behavior in society by fathering a child. The Director, who is normally responsible for the creation of life and ordering of class, is also responsible for a sexual act that goes against this dystopian society.

Imagine you have 24 hours to change into any sea creature. Which creature would you choose to be? Describe what you life would b
Greeley [361]

If I could turn into any sea creature it would be a frog fish. These extremely impressive sea creatures can change texture and color to blend in with its surroundings. I would start my morning by searching for food. This task would be so easy for me because my prey come right to me when I blend in with the coral. Next I would go and search for another place to blend into thats not already taken. I usually find a place very easily. I can even blend into the sand. From that point on I will just sit for a couple hours and reminisce about life until the shark comes. When this happens I stay very still because they never notices me. The only bad part about that is having to sit very still and watch other fish get eaten alive. After watching that horrific scene I would go and look for a girlfriend. I keep getting rejected, but I know if i dont give up someone will surely come my way. All that searching for a mate would ordinarily make me very tired. However, before I go to sleep I have to eat. I blend in with the algae to do so. Routinely thats the easiest part of my day. I see a whale and attached myself to it. Thats generally my resting place and the whales dont mind. That ends my day till I wake up and do it all over again.
