Ionic bonds form when a nonmetal and a metal exchange electrons. It is a type of chemical bond formed through an electrostatic attraction between two oppositely charged ions.
The Ph scale measures the acidity or alkalinity of water soluble substances (pHstands for 'potential of Hydrogen'). A pH value is a number from 1 to 14, with 7 as the middle (neutral) point. Values below 7 indicate acidity which increases as the number decreases, 1 being the most acidic.

cells in this experiment were macrophages. These immune system cells
have many lysosomes for the destruction of bacteria and other invaders
brought into the cell via phagocytosis. The enzymes (hydrolases) that
carry out this catabolic activity are synthesized in the endoplasmic
reticulum, modified in the Golgi, and transported to the lysosomes.</span>
