Answer:

0.0566 units of time

Step-by-step explanation:

The average value for the depth of the waves is 50 and occurs when sin (11 (t +0.23)) = 0. It is known that sin(π) = 0, therefore:

sin (11 (t +0.23)) = sin(\pi)\\11t+2.53=\pi\\t=0.0556\ units

Since the units of time used were not specified, the first time the depth of the waves is at its average value is 0.0566 units of time after she starts measuring.

A goat is grazing outside of a rectangular barn that has dimensions 20 ft by 30 ft.
MariettaO [177]

Answer:

  • 108π  ft² or  339.29 ft²

Step-by-step explanation:

Refer to attached picture.

The grazing area of the goat is 3/4 of area of circle with 12 ft radius:

  • A = 3/4(πr²) = 3/4(π*12²) = 108π  or  339.29 ft²

22. In the diagram below WXZ is a right angle. If the measure of WXV is 11 more than there times the measure of WXY and the meas
Andreyy89

Given: < WXZ = 90 degrees ( Right angle is an angle of 90 degree measure).

      m< WXV = 11 more than 3 times m< WXY = (3 * <WXY + 11)

      m< YXV = 139 degree.

To find : m<YXZ = ?

Solution : m< WXZ is equal to 90 degrees and is also the sum of angles m<WXY and m<YXZ i.e.

          m< WXZ = 90 degrees = m<WXY + m<YXZ            -----(1)

           m< WXV = (3 * <WXY + 11)                       -----(2)

          m <YXV is equal to 139 degrees and also equal to the sum of angles m<WXY and m<WXV i.e.

          m <YXV = 139 degree = m<WXY + m<WXV            -----(3)

Substituting m< WXV = (3 * <WXY + 11) from equation (2) in equation (3)

         139 degree = m<WXY + m<WXV

      => 139 = m<WXY + 3 * m<WXY + 11  (Subtracting 11 from both sides)

      => 139 -11 =  m<WXY + 3 * m<WXY + 11 -11

      => 128 = 4<WXY                                      (Adding m<WXY + 3 * m<WXY)

      => 32  = < WXY                                      (Dividing both sides by 4)

Substituting < WXY = 32 from above in equation (1)

      90 degrees = m<WXY + m<YXZ

      90 = 32 + m<YXZ                                (Subtracting 32 from both sides)

      90-32 = 32 + m<YXZ -32

      58 = m<YXZ.

Therefore, <YXZ =58 degrees.

Rina8888 [55]

Answer:Integers ={Positive Natuaral Number +Natural numbers having negative sign behind it+Zero}

={------,-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3,..........}

Step-by-step explanation:

→Points marked on the X and Y axis on the Coordinate Plane=Integers only

→Point to be marked on the coordinate plane =(-0.5,2)

→As, points on both X and Y axis are integers only.To mark, -0.5 , mark a line between , 0 and -1,that will be ,-0.5.

→You can mark , any terminating decimal on the number line, which is marked with integers only.

→Terminating decimals are those decimals having in the denominator of a fraction.

So, to plot any terminating Decimal on the coordinate plane, you have to use property of Rational Numbers ,which is, you can find infinite number of terminating Decimal between two terminating Decimal.

→Mark -0.5 between 0 and -1 on the X axis.Similarly, mark integer 2 on the Y axis.Draw a line parallel to Y axis ,passing from (-0.5,0) and line parallel to X axis passing through (0,2).The intersection of these two lines will be required point (-0.5,2).
