To find the circumference of a circle you would need to use the formula 2πr.

Since the diameter is twice the radius...

(Assuming that π = 3.14)

2 * 3.14 * (4 / 2)

2 * 3.14 * 2

6.28 * 2

= 12.56 cm

GalinKa [24]

Answer:

  32 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

The length of the larger rectangle is double that of the smaller one. If we assume the rectangles are similar, the perimeter will be double as well:

  2·(16 ft) = 32 feet . . . . perimeter of larger rectangle

__

The width of the larger one is 2·1.8 ft = 3.6 ft.

Josh buys cucumbers that cost $0.62 per pound. He pays $2.79 for the cucumbers.
Sphinxa [80]
Please refer to the other post you saw.

Josh's estimate IS reasonable because when you have a number 5 or above after the decimal, you round up. Although it's reasonable to round up to 5 pounds, the actual amount is 4.5 pounds, or four and a half.
