The owner is most likely cheating because it is usually a 50|50 chance of winning. But, you usually only get 50, and win a bit less and loose more. So, he is most likely cheating. (Hope this helped  :D)

Answer:

The owner is not lucky.

Step-by-step explanation:

As the dice belongs to him, the owner could be very experienced with throwing the dice and thus making it easy to control how it lands and subsequently win as a result. While it is possible for the owner to be very lucky, it is simply impossible to be lucky for hours on end as stated in the scenario.

What is the third Quartile Of the following distribution?. 10, 25, 18, 31, 16, 27, 5, 13, 32, 24, 15, 21 , 18 , 18, 24, 4, 8, 11
ladessa [460]

Answer: The third quartile of the distribution is 23.

Step-by-step explanation:

First we write the data in ascending order:

4,5,8,10, 11,11, 13,15,16, 18, 18, 18, 21, 23, 24, 24, 25, 27, 31, 32

Since there are 20 terms:

First half is for First Quartile :

4,5,8,10, 11,11, 13,15,16, 18

Second half is for third Quartile:

18, 18, 21, 23, 24, 24, 25, 27, 31, 32.

So, Value of third quartile would be

Q_3=\dfrac{5^{th}+6^{th}}{2}\\\\Q_3=\dfarc{24+24}{2}\\\\Q_3=\dfrac{48}{2}\\\\Q_3=24

Hence, the third quartile of the distribution is 23.

Janice's mother gave her 10. Dollars to buy 5 pounds each pounds of bananas and apple she got there that bananas were 80c Per po
viva [34]
Total money Janice has: $10, so the total cost for the bananas and apples must be less than or equal to $10.

Keeping this in mind, let's break this problem down.
1: The bananas: She needs 5 pounds of bananas, which cost $0.80 per pound. To find the total cost of bananas, multiply the cost by the number of pounds.
5($0.8)=$4.

2. The apples: She also needs 5 pounds of apples at $1.40 per pound. To find the total cost, follow the same process as with the bananas:
5($1.4)=$7 for the total cost of the apples.

3. Now you have two separate costs: one for apples, and the other for bananas. Combined, the total cost is 4+7=11. Because Janice's mother only gave her $10, she's short a dollar. So no, she doesn't have enough money.

If function g has the factors (x − 7) and (x + 6), what are the zeros of function g?
Delicious77 [7]

Answer:

The zeros are x=7 and x= -6

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find the zeros of a function with factors, we have to equate the factors to zero.

So x-7 = 0

and

x+6 = 0

Then we solve for x in each equation,

x= 7 and x= -6

These values are the zeros
