The correct option is WATER DIVERSION PROJECTS.
The Aral sea in Russia, was one of the world largest lake, but since 1960 it has been reducing in size because most of its water is been diverted to farm lands for crops growth. The mono lake was almost wipe out as a result of its diversion for California water project.<span />
