The people you see on a daily basis shapes the way you see the world and other people, the opinions on yourself you get everyday shapes the way you see yourself.

For Example: Me, I've seen both bad and good people in the world, so I'm skeptical but also optimistic that someone is either a good or bad person, most opinions I've gotten about myself from other people were bad, but the people I spend time with have showed that I shouldn't care, so I hear all the bad stuff said and I move on.

Certain people would be greatly affected if they heard something bad said about them. It all depends on who you spend time around and the stuff you hear.
