Vacuoles regulate the turgidity by regulating the amount of water inside the cell. cell has excessive water: vacuole absorbs the water and then diffuses it out of the cell. cell lacks water: water from the vacuole gets passed back into the cell thereby maintaining turgidity.

Heterotrophs are organisms that needs to get its energy from other sources. You and me are heterotrophs (well unless you are a plant lol). We have to eat food to get energy to survive.

They are related because they are all in the same blood or family you breathe in oxygen and remove carbon dioxide the carbon dioxide it helps other stuff in the ecosystem to survive or live so its like this people breathe oxygen while plants breathe carbon dioxide.
