What are the population of grasslands. it can be animals or plants
NemiM [27]
<span>Grasslands are one of the most widespread of all the major vegetation types of the world. This is so, however, only because human manipulation of the land has significantly altered the natural vegetation, creating artificial grasslands of cereal crops, pastures, and other areas that require some form of repetitious, unnatural disturbance such as cultivation, heavy grazing, burning, or mowing to persist. This discussion, however, concentrates on natural and nearly natural grasslands.

7. A nerve signal from the brain arrives at the intersection of the nerve and muscle cells and releases acetylcholine from the neuron. This triggers chemical changes in the muscle cell involving ions, including Ca2+. Calcium triggers the thick filaments, made of myosin, to attach to the thin filaments, made of actin, in the muscle cell, and the myosin pulls the actin toward the center of the muscle cell. ATP causes the release of the actin fibers, allowing the muscle to relax and the process to begin again.

Which would you expect to be the most active on a cold day?
ira [324]
Biologically thinking, I would say viruses.
Viruses are Inert organisms, they are not influenced by temperature on the opposite of other organisms like humans or bacteria (there are some exceptions in bacteria)
Temperature influences proteins, it could change their conformation and their activity, especially for enzymes.
Temperature decreases the energy flow, due to the decrease of thermal agitation of small molecules like ions in cells.
Viruses don't need active enzymes to live, it just needs host cells, which will be easier on cold days because of the decrease of immune system activity
On cold days you can see an emergence of viruses infections like flu or cold.
