There was a hot summer, it was scorching hot, and there was no rain. The land is arid, dry, cracked, rivers and streams dry. All species are confused because of the lack of water.
Without drinking water, the crow's mother and daughter were about to faint from thirst. The mother crow led her children everywhere, but could not find water anywhere. Mother Crow finally found a vase. But the pot was so deep, there was no way the crow could drink any of the water from the bottom of the pot.
The mother crow thought for a long time and then told her children to go get pebbles and put them in the jar. Thanks to that, the water rose up to the mouth of the pot, and the mother and the baby crow had water to drink, quenching their thirst.
