Further explanation

In every life, we will definitely find racial and ethnic inequality, because in this world we live with different types of people whose skin color and hair color are different. This is what causes people to experience racial and ethnic inequality. Before further discussing the theme of this article, I will explain a little about race and ethnicity.

Racial, the term racial group refers to a minority group separated from others with clear physical differences, where the definition of minority groups is a subordinate group whose members have less control or power over their lives than members of a dominant group or majority that master them.

While Ethnicity, is a relationship with a social group in a social or cultural system that has a certain meaning or position because of divinity, customs, religion or language.

sociologists continue to feel that the differences between racial groups and ethnic groups are socially important. But in reality, stratification based on racial lines is more resistant to change than stratification based on ethnic lines. Over time, members of ethnic minority groups can sometimes become indistinguishable from the majority, although the process can be several generations and cannot include all members of that group. Conversely, members of minority racial groups are much more difficult to mingle with the wider community and receive benefits from the majority.
