What did African export besides slaves during triangular trade
alexgriva [62]
During the Triangular Trade, Africa exported sugar, molasses, indigo and small amount of precious metals as well. In reality the African port was used mainly for slave trading. Triangular trade is not an actual description of sea route for the ships. It marks the trade that went on between the three ports of West Africa, New England and American colonies. Sugar was exported from Africa to the countries of Europe or New England. There they were processed to make rum. The money made by the selling of sugar was again used to purchase goods that were sold to Africa in exchange for slaves.
