Answer:

Yesterday evening, Darius went to the store because he wanted food. At that moment, he ran into his teacher there and they talked about his latest project. Eventually, he decides to base his project on gourmet cooking.

Explanation:

Transitional words or phrases create coherence within paragraphs or parts of a text, since they connect thoughts and help readers go from one idea to the next. A few temporal transitions are while, during, last night, similarly and finally.

Alik [6]

Truthful request is the theme from the quit India speeches. Quit India campaign was a national protest movement based on “Satyagraha” that called for an end to British colonial rule in India and the establishment of Indian sovereignty through nonviolent resistance and peaceful violation of laws. In 1942, in a fiery speech in Mumbai, Mahatma Gandhi gave a 'do or die' call to the people of India in a final push to make the British quit.

Many claim that the Quit India speech by Gandhi was a Civil Disobedience Movement that was a huge launch for independence. Throughout Gandhi's speech he requested the withdrawal of British rule from India through mass nonviolent protest asking desperately for the freedom for the Indian People.

This question is about "The Breadwinner"

Parvana needs to cut all her hair and although it left her unsatisfied in the beginning, she understands that this is the price she must pay to help her family and that hair is no more important than the family she loves. This is because Parvana lives in Afghanistan who lives under the Taliban regime, which oppresses and does not allow women's freedom. Parvana is primarily responsible for supporting the family and therefore needs to cut her hair and pretend to be a boy in order for the Taliban to allow her to continue working to support the family.

Who is Mayella afraid of in the courtroom and why is she afraid? What does this reveal about Mayella?
Alenkinab [10]

Answer:

Mayella is afraid of Atticus.

Explanation:

Atticus has the power to expose her as a poor white woman who has attempted to seduce a black man. This shows that Mayella is very scared of what people may think of her, but most of all shows that she is scared of her father, Bob Ewell, since he is forcing her to be in the trial.

(I hope this helps !!)
