Which of the following statements about Bacon's Rebellion is false?
8090 [49]

Answer:

A. After the rebellion, Nathaniel Bacon led his followers to form their own colony

Explanation:

The Bacon's Rebellion was a rebellion led by Nathaniel Bacon. This rebellion occurred in the colony of Virginia. The reason for the rebellion was that the people were not satisfied of the rule of the colony's governor. The people didn't had any protection from Indian attacks, which was always putting them in danger. The fur trade with the Indians for Bacon, and lot of other people was not allowed, nor the people had any say in the policies of the colony. Bacon was revolted, and he organized a rebellion, attacking Indians, the governor, several towns, torching the capital. The British Crown was quick to react though, and several ships managed to stop the riot and gradually take over again, though few years were needed until the rebellion was actually put under full control.
